Satisfactory Visit

cute staff home-cooked food cereals choice quiet pub tough steak hot plate
The staff were cute. Home-cooked food was served in the bar (I liked it). Breakfast offered a good choice of cereals and juices.
The pub seemed quiet on a Friday night. I ordered a rump steak. It was tough. The side salad sat directly on the hot plate.

A Charming Yorkshire Stay

cosy pub generous room convenient location
The pub was cosy. I relaxed by the fire during my evening meal. The meal was delicious. The room was a generous size, and I enjoyed a restful sleep, rare in unfamiliar beds. The location is convenient. It was only a short drive to the coast.
The noise from the bar was noticeable until late at night. I feel it may be an issue for light sleepers. It stopped eventually.

great choice plentiful breakfast dated facilities broken bath panels
Breakfast was great! A great choice was available and plentiful. The bus service location was very good with buses going in both directions every 30 minutes! The bus stop was a quick two-minute walk.
The facilities are dated and worn out. Bath panels were broken and the decor needed a freshening up. There was no air conditioning anywhere in the building. I struggled to sit through a meal because it was so hot.
